By far the most in-demand service is bird guiding, for which several family members are well-prepared and highly experienced. Our guides can help you find your target species, rack up a big species total for the day, find you good opportunities for photography, or simply help you take in the whole diversity of the birdlife around you. Whatever your preference, our guide in the field with you will help you get more out of your experience on Montezuma Road.<\/span><\/p>\n

A typical day in the field for birders will start with a quick cup of coffee at 5:30 am at the main lodge before hopping in the truck for a ride up Montezuma Road to the chosen location for birding that morning. Once in the field, birders will enjoy the early morning bird activity as the sun rises for about an hour before sitting down to breakfast in the field (sent up in the truck with you from our kitchen). Then your guide will take you along Montezuma Road for birding the rest of the day or as long as you wish. For those staying in the field all day, a hot lunch will be prepared and delivered to you up on the mountain. You can choose to walk all the way back down the mountain or keep your driver and truck with you to change locations in the event of persistent rain or dense fog.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row equal_height=”yes”][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
